Encrypted Emails

Encrypted email is a way of keeping the content of your email safe from eavesdropping as it bounces around the internet. When sending emails via the SlingMail service one type of encryption used is called a private key. Without a private key, the content of an encrypted message is extremely difficult to extract.

Email Support

In most cases email is the preferred method and will give you the fastest response times. All clients with the exception of LITE users will have access to further support options.

Closed Network

A closed network can refer to a private network that can only be used by authenticated, authorized devices; outsider use is prohibited and enforced through cryptographic means.

VPN Service

A Virtual Private Network (VPN) is a network technology that creates a secure network connection over a public network such as the Internet or a private network owned by a service provider. VPN technology employs sophisticated encryption to ensure security and prevent any unintentional interception of data between private sites.

All traffic over a VPN is encrypted using algorithms to secure data integrity and privacy. VPN architecture is governed by a strict set of rules and standards to ensure a private communication channel between sites.

Remote Wipe

The device must have internet connectivity and it must be active on the service in order for remote wipe to succeed. This capability is primarily designed to address the situation where the device falls into the hands of a bad guy, for example if it is stolen. It's sometimes also used when the phone is assigned by a company to one of their employees and for whatever reason the company wishes to ensure that their data is no longer on the phone.

Security Tokens

A SlingMail security token (authentication token) is a small hardware device that the owner carries to authorize access to a network service. Security tokens provides an extra level of assurance through a method known as two-factor authentications: the user has a personal identification.

International Roaming Package

With SlingMail XTREME & SlingMail PREMIUM services, we offer an in-house Unlimited International Mobile Data service for added security, the other two services the client would subscribe to their own Telco provider.

Smartphone

A SlingMail Blackberry Smartphone is provided with both our SlingMail XTREME and PREMIUM packages. For other packages users would require to provide their own Blackberry smartphone or purchase one directly from SlingMail.
